Search for five vanished girls, backpackers each last seen in a different part of outback Australia. Fragments and clues are discovered but no solid traces. A man’s diary tells their story. Then a person emerges from obscurity without memory who may be one. Gradually the pieces of her disappearance and other’s lives and fates are reassembled.
