It is said that during free fall, a body increases its speed by thirty-two feet per second for every second it’s in the air.

Terry Strong, PI, didn’t want to think about how fast Father John Dresdale’s body was falling when it hit the pavement beneath the St. Benjamin’s Catholic Church thirty-foot bell tower.

Father John’s death is ruled to be a suicide. His brother, Gabriel Dresdale, doesn’t believe that. So Terry Strong and her colleague, Jack Jefferson, set out to either prove or disprove the allegation.

Uncovering the truth becomes more and more difficult. The more Terry and Jack investigate, the more it seems that Father John did, in fact, jump. Terry cannot accept that, “How could he have killed himself? Isn’t that a mortal sin? Especially for a Catholic priest? What kind of example could that be for us laypeople? What did that say about faith?”

She and Jack set out to discover exactly what happened that night in the St. Benjamin Catholic Church bell tower.
